Masons - Power Generators is a leading brand in the power generation and distribution;
since 1937 it has increased his presence especially in the Middle East, in Africa and in Asia,
manufacturing and marketing a broad range of products from 2 to 3200 kVA.

and offers customized solutions for all kinds of applications, combining industrial production efficiency
with incomparable quality for all specifications.

MASONS was founded in 1937 under the name Workman Reed & Co manufacturing
Electrical winding machines on a small industrial site located in West Country village in England.

In 1941 during the war years the factory was seconded by the Armed forces to supply, various electrical power
equipment that could be utilized and adopted for many different requirements.

Subsequent to the war days Workman Reed focused its business on power generation
equipments due to enormous potential it offered in the reconstruction of war ravaged areas.
Early seventies saw focus shifting from domestic market to international market.

In 1990 under new management the present day name of MASONS was adopted.
During this period MASONS firmly established its name in Middle East & African Markets
as key supplier of custom designed Diesel Generators.
Exports to these regions grew exponentially during this time. In recognition of its export
performance Queens Award of excellence was conferred in 1995.

In 1999 Atlas Copco Sweden acquired MASONS and the factory was utilized to manufacture
some of the special units for AC range. In late 2005 a new management team with strong background
and previous experience in Diesel Generators business took over MASONS brand from Atlas Copco.
